Ex-Kangaroo Scott Thompson’s Ascot Vale home has hopped off the market after scoring an impressive auction result.
The retired footballer’s landmark home at 38 Kent St changed hands for $2.141 million, which was well above his price hopes.
Alexkarbon director Charles Bongiovanni said there were at least 70 people in the backyard during the auction.
